MicroShipowner Run 1 like a Fleet.

Run 1 like a Fleet.

One trusted picture of your ship.

Run a ship well and you still have to prove it — to the charterer, the insurer, Port State Control and the bank. MicroShipowner keeps one record of your vessel's condition, operations and compliance, updated as the work happens, so everyone works from the same facts. Built and run by shipowners.

  • ISM Code 2018 · SMS Rev 1.0
  • Runs offline, syncs in port
  • In use on our own ship, M/V LOTOSS

The problem

Small fleets pay the big-fleet price

The rules do not scale down. The tooling does not scale down either — so the smallest companies carry the heaviest relative load.

86.8%

of ship-operating companies run five or fewer ships, yet the tools they are offered are priced and designed for fleets of fifty. 1

4.4% vs 0.98%

the PSC detention rate of a one-ship company against a company with more than 100 ships. Small fleets are detained four and a half times more often. 1

54%

of commercial vessels under 500 GT are over 25 years old; they face the same ISM, MLC and EU reporting rules as new tonnage with a fraction of the shore staff. 2

One detention costs a small owner a company rating, a vetting score and a six-figure bill. The fix is not more paper. It is one record of the ship that the whole company actually keeps up, and that everyone outside it can rely on.

How the pieces fit

From the ship itself to the people who finance it

Four parts, each doing one job and handing on to the next. The point is not to replace your bank, your class society or the systems you already run — it is to connect the ship, its verified data, its daily work and its ownership into one picture.

  1. 01

    ShipCheckAI verifies the ship

Vessel inspection checklists, prepared for the third parties who come asking — class, Port State Control, charterers and insurers. Digi PMS is built into it, so maintenance and equipment condition are checked as part of the same pass. That is what makes a ship's status verified rather than merely claimed.

Fee-based today — paid for LSA, FFA, MLC and Digi PMS work

  2. 02

    MicroShipowner runs the ship

DigiSMS, procedures, operational checklists, HR and the business side, in one place. The verified condition coming from ShipCheckAI joins the day-to-day record, and together they become one trusted statement of where the vessel stands.

In test on M/V LOTOSS across SMS, HR and business processes

  3. 03

Every vessel keeps her own ledger

Each ship has a separate, secured data ledger. Tasks, records and the evidence that each was done are filed once, by the person who did them, and stay with that vessel. Nothing is pooled across ships, and each ledger opens only to the stakeholders entitled to read it.

    Append-only · signed · per vessel

  4. 04

The financing layer opens a door

A ship whose condition is continuously evidenced can raise capital against that record — an additional layer of financing and liquidity alongside the bank, not instead of it.

First issue completed · capital at risk

Better vessel data is not the end product. It is the infrastructure underneath safer operations, easier management, clearer ownership and a fairer assessment of risk.

The model

Put your ship in.

Switch on the modules you need. Invite your people.

The ship at the centre of MicroShipowner M/V LOTOSS at the centre as one record and one evidence chain. Seven modules ring her: Ship file, SMS, Maintenance, Inspections, Crew and HR, Business, and Funding, which is optional. Outside them the people — on board, shore, owner and outside parties. Access is one named person, one ship, one role, from sign-on to sign-off. The ship is the centre: one record, one evidence chain. Everything else hangs off her. Access is one named person, one ship, one role — it starts at sign-on and ends at sign-off, because that is what a sea contract already says.

01

Ship OPS Management

DigiSMS, procedures, operational checklists, HR and the business side — our ships and client ships on one hierarchy, switched on module by module.

Efficiency

Safety Management System (DigiSMS)

ISM Code 2018 delivered as software. Procedures, drills, checklists, NCRs, master's reviews and DPA oversight, paperless. One entry on board, visible live to ship, shore and inspector. Full ISM or mini-ISM for ships under 500 GT.

HR, crew and certificates

Crew lists, contracts (SEA), rest hours, training records, and a certificate calendar for ship and crew with expiry alerts. MLC-ready.

Shore support

A Master Mariner and a marine surveyor on call: DPA services, ISM gap analysis, audit preparation, pre-purchase and condition surveys.

02

ShipCheckAI Inspections

Inspection checklists prepared for the third parties who ask — class, Port State Control, charterers, insurers — with Digi PMS integrated, so condition and maintenance are verified in the same pass.

Quality

Inspection evidence (ShipCheckAI)

Walk the ship, take photos, get a report with each finding tagged to the SOLAS / ISM / MLC reference and a fix. PSC pre-arrival packs, charterer and insurer questionnaires answered from the same record.

Digi PMS + 3D360 — inside ShipCheckAI

Running-hours, jobs, spares and defects with photo close-out, integrated into ShipCheckAI so maintenance evidence and inspection evidence are the same record. Built for a chief engineer with a tablet, not a fleet superintendent with an ERP.

03

Funds to Develop

Another layer of financing alongside your bank, not instead of it — for owners, including part-owners, whose vessel is productive and valuable but who have limited access to conventional funding.

Growth

Optional capital (ship bonds)

Once your ship has 90 days of evidenced operating data, raise working or refit capital through an EU-regulated profit-share bond issued against that verified vessel, while you keep technical and commercial control. Buy-back terms published up front. It sits alongside your existing bank facilities rather than replacing them.

Ship bonds are EU-framed profit-sharing bonds issued by Digi Creative SIA. They do not transfer ownership of the hull. Capital at risk.

Who we are

Shipowners first, software second

We build and manage our own fleet.

Every module on this page runs on our own ships first. M/V LOTOSS has been operated, surveyed, financed through a bond issue and reported on under DigiSMS; our next vessel is a crew transfer vessel for offshore wind in the Baltic and North Sea. If it does not work at sea for us, we do not sell it.

We assist other shipowners.

Owners of one to five ships get the same system, the same DPA and surveyor support, and the same evidence trail that banks, charterers and Port State Control recognise — priced per ship per month.

We turn ordinary citizens into microshipowners.

Through Maritime DAO, anyone in the EU can back a specific, surveyed, operating ship from €200 through a regulated bond, and follow its condition and results on an open ledger. Owners get capital; citizens get a share of a real ship's earnings.

The fleet

Three vessels, three separate ledgers

Every vessel has her own secured data ledger. What is recorded on one ship stays with that ship — nothing is pooled — and each ledger opens only to the stakeholders entitled to read it: the owner, the DPA, the surveyor, the charterer, the insurer, the bondholder. One active today, two in preparation.

Who it helps

One record, six sets of people who need it

Everyone around a ship asks a version of the same question — is she in good order, and can I rely on the answer. Today each one asks separately, and each gets a different answer.

Shipowners

Additional financing, better liquidity, and a straightforward way to show what the vessel is worth and what condition she is in.

Investors and bondholders

A maritime asset backed by operational, compliance and business information that keeps being updated — and a clear view of the ship behind the investment.

Financiers and insurers

A more reliable basis for pricing risk, watching performance, and deciding whether to lend or underwrite.

Crew and managers

Clearer tasks, procedures within reach on the phone in your hand, and markedly less paperwork.

Charterers and partners

Confidence that the vessel is properly managed, compliant, and open about how she runs.

The wider industry

A common information layer joining the physical vessel to its operations, its ownership and its financial structure.

Onboarding

How we would start with your ship

  1. The call

What you run, what is giving you trouble, and which of the pieces below would actually help. No charge, no obligation.

  2. Baseline and gap analysis

A ShipCheckAI inspection of your ship — photos, certificates, last PSC and class status — and your current SMS read against your flag's requirement. This part is running and priced today.

  3. Trial on board, module by module

We put on board what is ready — starting with the inspection and maintenance side — and add the rest as it comes out of test on our own ship. Crew trained in their working language; works offline.

  4. Go live

Your vessel gets her own secured ledger. DPA support, certificate calendar and findings queue running, and you decide who may read it.

  5. Optional: raise capital

After 90 days of clean data, a standardized bond issue against the verified ship, with published buy-back rights for you.
